– Chelsea want the Portugal international to replace Belgian star Eden Hazard

– Guedes scored the winner for Portugal in their 1-0 win over Holland in the Nations League final

Portugal international Goncalo Guedes has reportedly emerged as top target for Premier League side Chelsea who want the winger as replacement for Eden Hazard.

Hazard recently completed a big move to Real Madrid after helping Chelsea to win the 2018/19 Europa League title beating Arsenal in the final.

And despite their current transfer ban for two years, Chelsea are said to have made €70m offer for Valencia star Goncalo Guedes.

According to Plaza Deportiva, Valencia have received an offer from Chelsea for Gonçalo Guedes through his agent Jorge Mendes.

But Valencia are said to have turned Chelsea’s offer down since Guedes has a long-term contact and a €300m release clause.

Goncalo Guedes has been impressive for both club and country as he scored the winning goal for Portugal in their 1-0 win over Holland in the Nations League final.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Portugal vs Netherlands ended 1-0 in favor of Portugal as they were winners of the UEFA Nations League winners.

The much anticipated encounter did not reach its expectations in the first half but chances were few and far between.

Both sides were cagey in the opening exchanges of the match but the Dutch were the better side in the attacking third.
