Niko Kovac has been sacked by Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have sacked Niko Kovac after their poor start to the season.

Bayern lost 5-1 to Kovac’s former club, Eintracht Frankfurt, at the weekend leaving them fourth in the Bundesliga, four points behind leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.

They’ve lost twice in the league and have conceded more goals than any other side in the top half.

That’s despite the Bavarian’s incredible 7-2 victory over Tottenham last month in the Champions League.

Jose Mourinho is currently the favourite to take over.
